The Abbot's House is the first house one encounters once past the main entrance of the village under the characteristic pointed stone arch, immediately next to the fountain and above the ancient sources where clothes were washed. Dating back to 1548, it was the residence of the historic figure of the Abbot of Collepino. It's a very spacious house, with terracotta floors, a roof with exposed chestnut beams (up to six meters high). It has two spacious and comfortable double bedrooms. The first, very large and with a small but complete bathroom inside, overlooks the large living room and the village alleys. The second bedroom, more compact and intimate, has a double bed that can be transformed into two single beds if necessary. The bathroom, very spacious and complete with a shower, is right in front of the room in a reserved area after the laundry and wardrobe area. The possible fifth or sixth guest can sleep on a comfortable sofa bed (one and a half size) at the entrance of the house. On request, one or two travel cots/beds with anti-suffocation pillow and bamboo organic fiber kit can be added, and can be placed in one of the two double rooms for infants/children weighing less than 15kg. We also have a small bath-changing table, a high chair, and safety systems like gates and socket covers to safely accommodate even the smallest guests. One of the features that characterize the apartment is the large living room with very high ceilings and a beautiful pointed stone arch, at the center of which there is a comfortable sofa that invites to relaxation and "creative" idleness in front of the fireplace with a good book or watching a movie with the smart TV that has access to Netflix and PrimeVideo. Also in the living room, there is an ancient wooden table that can accommodate up to 8-10 people and that can become one or more comfortable work/study stations (and the TV, at 43 inches high resolution, can become a monitor connectable via wifi). It has a fully equipped kitchen (with electric oven and induction hob, generous size refrigerator), washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, mosquito nets on the windows. The house is quiet and peaceful, with the windows open you can hear the sounds of the forest and the flow of water in the ancient sources and the washhouse. It's cool in the summer (where we record on average 4-6 degrees less than Spello and Foligno). In the evening it is pleasant to sleep with a light duvet. For the peaks of heat, we have comfortable fans/coolers that make the stay very pleasant and without the use of air conditioning.
